<br /> <br />RESOLUTION 5538 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE POLICE LIEUTENANT POSITION STATUS <br />TO DEPUTY CHIEF <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Police Civil Service has met and recommended a change in the <br />position title for the second in command of the Department; and that request was <br />presented to Council; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Council has discussed and weighed the recommendation of the <br />Police Civil Service Committee; at the March 5, 2001 work session; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the title of the second in command <br />of the Police Department shall be Deputy Chief rather than Liuetenant. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOVLED THAT the position title shall become effective on <br />March 18, 2001. The position shall retain the same salary steps as the previous <br />position.
