Ordinance 681 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br /> (f) Fires for Training Sessions. Nothing in this Section shall prohibit the fire <br />department from conducting training sessions on actual fires of any type set for <br />that purpose." <br /> <br /> Section 11.301 is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "(a) For the purpose of this Section, the sounding of any fire alarm system <br />shall constitute a fire 4." (Ord. 496, 11-12-91) <br /> <br />1002.03: BUREAU OF FIRE PREVENTION; ENFORCEMENT OF PROVISIONS: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. Bureau Established; Enforcement of Fire Code: The Minnesota Uniform Fire Code <br />shall be enforced by the Bureau of Fire Prevention in the Fire Department under <br />contract with Mounds View, which is hereby established and which shall be operated <br />under the supervision of the Chief of the Fire Department. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Inspectors: The Chief of the Fire Department may detail such members of the Fire <br />Department as members of the Bureau of Fire Prevention and as inspectors as shall, <br />from time to time, be necessary. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Fire Inspector: Refer to the Fire Inspection Protocol Amendment No. 1 put into <br />effect on June 1, 1987. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. 4. Annual Report: A report of the Bureau of Fire Prevention shall be made <br />annually and transmitted to the Council. (Ord. 496, 11-12-91) <br /> <br /> <br />1002.04: PERMIT FEES: All Fire Department permit fees shall be set in accordance <br />with a fee schedule adopted by resolution of the City Council. (Ord. 496, 11-12-91) <br /> <br /> <br />1002.05: NEW MATERIALS, PROCESSES AND OCCUPANCIES APPEALS BOARD: <br />The Fire Department Board of Directors and the Fire Chief shall act as the local board of <br />appeals with regard to enforcement of this Chapter and the Minnesota Uniform Fire Code. <br /> <br />The City Council and the Chief of the Fire Department shall act as a committee to determine <br />and specify, after giving affected persons an opportunity, any new materials, processes or <br />occupancies which shall require permits, in addition to those now enumerated in said Code. <br />The Chief of the Fire Department shall post such list in a conspicuous place in the Chief's <br />office and distribute copies thereof to interested persons.
