Item No. 7B <br />Staff Report No. <br />Meeting Date: August 27, 2001 <br />Type of Business: CA. <br />WK: Work Session; PH: Public Hearing; <br />CA: Consent Agenda; CB: Council Business City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Tracy Juell, Administrative Assistant <br />Item Title/Subject: Acceptance of Hillview Park Shelter Bid <br />Date of Report: August 29, 2018 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />On August 16, 2001, bids were opened regarding the replacement of the Hillview Park Shelter. <br />The following were the bids received: <br />Ebert Construction $159,400.00 <br />Rak Construction $178,721.00 <br />Nadeau Utility Inc. $194,650.00 <br />Westbrook Development $212,540.00 <br />George F. Cook Construction $236,000.00 <br />Unicorp $293,000.00 <br /> <br />(See attached letter from Jim Studenski, TKDA). <br /> <br />It was noted previously by Mike Ulrich, that $100,000.00 is budgeted in 2001 for the <br />replacement shelter at Hillview Park. <br /> <br />Staff is seeking councils’ recommendation to award the bid to Ebert Construction in the amount <br />of $159,400.00; with funding of $100,000.00 from 100-4360-7030 (Parks Capital) and the <br />remaining balance coming out of 251-4160-9900 (Park Dedication fund) and/or General Fund <br />Reserves. <br /> <br />Steve Dazenski, Parks Foreman and Jim Studenski from TKDA, will be present if council has <br />any questions or concerns. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Tracy Juell, Public Works Administrative Assistant <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Award bid to Ebert Construction in the amount of $159,400.00; with funding of $100,000.00 <br />from 100-4360-7030 (Parks Capital) and the remaining balance coming out of 251-4160-9900 <br />(Park Dedication fund) and/or General Fund Reserves. <br />
