Item No. 6F
Staff Report No.
Date of Meeting: September 24, 2001
Type of Business: CA
WK: Work Session; PH: Public Hearing;
CA: Consent Agenda; CB: Council Business City of Mounds View Staff Report
To: Honorable Mayor and City Council
From: Jim Hess, Engineering Technician
Item Title/Subject: Pleasant View Drive Traffic Signal/Median Design
Date of Report: September 20, 2001

As a follow up to the informational packet Council received at the retreat, staff
has since been in contact with Anoka County Highway Department. So as not to
jeopardize the Federal Funding on this project, Anoka County has decided to
prepare a set of revised plan sheets that will include a median design that allows
full access to County Highway 10. It is staffs understanding that this revision will
closely reflect what Council previously approved with the passing of Resolution
5355. Plan sheets showing the median design that restricts access to County
Highway 10 will also be available for review. Due to the short time frame, the
revised plans will not be included with this staff report, but will be available at the
council meeting. Lyndon Robjent, Assistant Anoka County Engineer, will be
attending the council meeting to present both options for the median design.

Respectfully Submitted,

Jim Hess
