RESOLUTION NO. 5491 <br /> ADOPTING THE 2001 PROPERTY TAX LEVY AND GENERAL FUND BUDGET <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> County of Ramsey <br /> State of Minnesota <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducted numerous meetings, made available detailed copies of said <br />budget and published summary information on the proposed 2001 Budget in the City newsletter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in accordance with the State of Minnesota Truth <br />In Taxation requirements on the proposed 2001 Budget on December 4, 2000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, when the Fire Improvement Bonds of 1991 were issued, the Citys 2001 debt service <br />payment was scheduled to be $78,765, however, due to changes in the allocation of costs between <br />participating cities, Mounds View’s actual 2001 debt service cost on said bonds will be $68,846. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that <br />the following appropriations for the calendar year 2001 are hereby approved: <br />GENERAL FUND: Amount <br />City Council $ 99,845 <br />Advisory Commissions 7,570 <br /> City Administrator 126,955 <br />Elections 5,830 <br />Central Services 409,120 <br />Finance 163,000 <br />Community Development 349,645 <br />Police 1,702,860 <br />Fire 179,267 <br />Streets 357,140 <br />Fleet management 135,710 <br />Recreation 133,965 <br />Parks & Athletic Fields 486,100 <br />Forestry 56,930 <br />Social services 16,082 <br />Contingency 50,000 <br />Transfer To Other Funds 25,000 <br />Community Center 50,000 <br />Fitness Program 4,750 <br />Fire Bonds of 1991 Debt Service 68,846 <br /> <br />Total General Fund $4,428,615 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Resolution 5491, Page 2
