Mounds View City Council November 13, 2000 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br /> <br />Mr. Lamb inquired as to whom he could contact at the City to discuss this matter for the <br />remainder of this year. <br /> <br />Mayor Coughlin indicated he could contact the City Administrator or any member of the <br />Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Lamb inquired as to the status of the financial projections for the golf course expansion. <br /> <br />City Administrator Miller indicated the numbers were not currently available and said there is a <br />meeting tentatively scheduled for November 20, 2000 should the report be completed by that <br />date. <br /> <br />10. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br /> A. Public Hearing Concerning Possible TIF Modifications. <br /> <br />Resolution 5484 is a Resolution Requesting Modifications to the Tax Increment Financing Plans <br />for Tax Increment Financing Districts Nos. 1, 2, 3 within the Mounds View Economic <br />Development Project Area. This is primarily an administrative modification to the Tax <br />Increment Financing Plans for Tax Increment Financing Districts Nos. 1, 2, 3 to bring the City <br />into compliance with the requirements of the Office of the State Auditor. Per statutory <br />requirements the Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed the proposed modifications and <br />found they are consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. The modifications have also been sent <br />to the school district and Ramsey County. <br /> <br />Mayor Coughlin opened the public hearing at 7:28 p.m. <br /> <br />Greg Johnson, Planning Commissioner, of 2865 Highway 10 indicated there was a discrepancy <br />in the TIF district and that the TIF and PUD Districts do not match. <br /> <br />Mayor Coughlin closed the public hearing at 7:31 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Quick. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution No. 5484, a <br />Resolution amending TIF Districts 1, 2, 3 Within the Mounds View Economic Development <br />Project Area. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />Council Member Marty thanked Staff for their efforts on this Resolution to bring the City into <br />compliance with the requirements of the State Auditor’s Office. <br /> <br />B. Public Hearing Concerning Mermaid Preliminary Plat. <br /> <br />The plat groups together those parcels being utilized for Mermaid expansion, which include the <br />former Rent-All property, the Music-off-10 property, the south 361 feet of the Mounds View
