9 <br />family health insurance plan for dependent Hospital/Dental insurance with the employee <br />being responsible for paying the remaining cost of the selected dependent hospital/dental <br />insurance. <br /> <br />16.2 If the cost of family health insurance premium increases by more than 15% in any given <br />year the Employer and the Union agree to negotiate the amount of the increase that <br />exceeds 15% <br /> <br />ARTICLE 17 - STANDBY PAY <br /> <br />Employees required by the EMPLOYER to standby shall be compensated for such standby time <br />at the rate of 1 hour compensatory time off for each hour on standby. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 18-OFF DUTY CALL PAY <br /> <br />Employees classified or assigned by the Employer as Investigator will receive one hour of <br />compensatory time off for every off-duty call received between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 <br />a.m. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 19- UNIFORMS <br /> <br />Uniforms: The Employer shall provide a uniform allowance of $575 for calendar year 2000, and <br />a re-opener with a uniform committee in the calendar year 2001. Employees who have completed <br />one year of service with the Employer will be eligible to receive the uniform allowance. The <br />uniform allowance will be prorated for employees who work less than one full year. The <br />Employer will determine and provide an initial issue of uniforms and equipment to newly hired <br />officers. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 20- VACATION <br /> <br />20.1 Vacation Pay. If an employee desires vacation pay in advance of vacation, the employee <br />must give the EMPLOYER at least three weeks notice in writing. <br /> <br />20.2 Carry Over and Waiver of Vacation Leave. Ten days of vacation may be carried over to <br />the next year, provided that time be used no later than April 30th of the following year. <br /> <br />20.3 Consecutive Vacation Days. If the employee is entitled to two weeks vacation, the <br />employee must take one week consecutively, if an employee is entitled to three or four <br />weeks vacation, the employee must take two weeks with five (5) day blocks or greater. <br /> <br />20.4 Vacation Schedule <br /> <br /> Vacation will be granted employees according to the following schedule: <br /> <br /> 1 through 5 years 10
