January 6, 2000 To: Honorable Mayor and City Council From: Chuck Whiting, City Administrator Re: January 10, 2000 City Council Meeting We do not have the heaviest of agendas for Monday, but we do have some issues. Here it is: 7B – Resolution 5049 Authorizing TOLD Development Co. to Proceed With the Preparation of a PUD Application That Would Include the City Remnant Parcel: Just so there is no confusion over this, the purpose of this resolution is to essentially grant permission to TOLD Development to develop a PUD application including the City’s remnant parcel on Edgewood and Highway 10. This is different than addressing PUD or approving a PUD application. Here the City is acknowledging the inclusion of its property in the PUD area application. 7C- Set Public Hearing for February 14, 2000 at 7:05 pm for the Second Reading and Adoption of Amended Ordinance No. 600 entitled, “Public Improvements”: I recall the Council choosing public hearings on the proposed changes for the assessment policies in the past and figured it would be consistent to do the same for the final reading of the ordinance, so this hearing is proposed. 10A – Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 642, an Ordinance Amending Title 1100, Chapters 1104 and 1121 of the Zoning Code, Related to Driveways and Curb Cuts: Council members recall this item having been discussed several times in the past. Its final reading is Monday evening. 10B - Presentation and Review of the City’s Risk Management Program: Mike reviewed this required presentation with the Council at the work session and will again Monday evening. 10C - Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 646, an Ordinance Amending Title 400, Chapter 405, Related to Parks and Recreation Commission: The ordinance language is enclosed as speaks to aligning the Commission terms on a staggered schedule. The Council reviewed this at the December work session. 10D - Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 647, an Ordinance Amending Title 300 - Chapters 301-309, Related to Personnel Regulations: This second reading and adoption finalizes the codes changes for personnel regulations reviewed at the December work session. This action is separate from the personnel rules themselves and pertains to the mechanics of removing policies from ordinance form, policies that are now adopted by resolution or administrative action.
