(1988 Code ∋93.04) <br /> <br /> <br />1005.02: PURPOSE AND SCOPE: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. Purpose: The purpose of this Chapter is to protect the public health, safety and welfare of residents of the <br />City by enacting a Housing Code which: <br /> <br />a. Establishes minimum standards for basic equipment and facilities; for safety from fire; for safe and sanitary <br />maintenance of all dwellings and multiple dwellings now in existence or hereafter in existence. <br /> <br />b. Determines the responsibilities of owners, operators and occupants of dwellings and multiple dwellings.
