Planning Case MU2017-001 <br />August 16, 2017 <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />The Planning Commission is requested to consider the following options: <br /> <br />1. Resolution 1076-17, recommending approval of a Development Review of “Boulevard”, a <br />60-unit apartment building. <br /> <br />2. The Planning Commission may choose to recommend denial of the Resolution. If the <br />Commission chooses these options, Staff would need to be directed to draft a resolution of <br />denial with findings of fact appropriate to support the denial. <br /> <br />3. Table the request. If additional information is needed before a decision can be rendered or <br />if more discussion is needed, the Commission can simply move to table the request until <br />such information has been provided. MN Statutes requires that the City take action within <br />60-days (Aug 13, 2017), but allows the City to extend its review for an additional 60-days <br />(Oct 13, 2017), which the City has done in order to allow additional discussion by the <br />Planning Commission and City Council. <br /> <br /> <br />Please note, that condition #5 in the resolution includes a number of line items discussed by <br />the Planning Commission during various meetings.
