~ounds View City Council <br />egular Meeting <br />Page Nine <br />April 13, 1992 <br />Councilmember Wuori stated concern that noise intrusion from the <br />neighbor might be a problem for this homeowner and that this would <br />cause problems between the two residences. Wuori stated that this <br />house may not be the best match for the neighborhood. <br />Minetor stated that in another City he was employed for a privacy <br />fence was included in the approval as a solution. <br />Councilmember Rickaby stated that this property was discussed by <br />a neighbor with small children when the setback from the street <br />was discussed. The neighbor had small children that play in the <br />yard and the view of cars coming was blocked. The addition of <br />a privacy fence on this property could create more difficulty. <br />Mr. May stated that there is more than a normal distance between <br />the two sideyards, approximately 40' of separation. <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated that Mr. May stated that the <br />neighbor, after reviewing the plans, did not have a problem with <br />the property. <br />• MOTION/SECOND: Blanchard/Linke to Adopt Resolution No. 4217 <br />Approving Setback Variance Requests by Mac May Homes, Inc., 2673 <br />Sherwood Road <br />3 ayes 2 nays Motion Carried <br />REPORT OF COUNCILMEMBERS: <br />Councilmember Blanchard - No report. <br />Councilmember Rickaby - No report. <br />Councilmember Wuori - No report. <br />Councilmember Quick- No report. <br />REPORT OF MAYOR LINKE: <br />Mayor Linke announced that the annual Easter Egg Hunt would <br />be held at City Hall beginning at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, <br />April 18th. This, event has been held for approximately 25 years <br />now. Mayor Linke welcomes all those children under the age of <br />10 to participate. <br />REPORT OF ADMINISTRATOR: <br />1. Samantha Orduno, City Administrator stated that the Presidential <br />Primary Election is over. 774 people voted in this election which <br />is equivalent to 10.19 percent of the registered voters in the City. <br />• 51 new voter registrations were taken. Orduno thanked all the election <br />judges for doing a fine job, Alice Frits was thanked personally as she <br />
