Mayor Linke declared the week of of May 10-17 as "Healthy Baby Week" <br />in the City of Mounds View. <br />Mayor Linke introduced Barb Matkowitz of the Department of Public <br />Health. Ms. Matkowitz stated that the Department of Public Health <br />and the March of Dimes will be holding informational and educational <br />meetings in May regarding early prenatal care and healthy pregnancies. <br />RESIDENTS REOUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR: <br />There were no residents requests or comments from the floor. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, read the proposed Consent Agenda. <br />Mayor Linke asked if any member of the Council desired to remove any item <br />from the proposed Consent Agenda. No items were removed. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Blanchard/Rickaby to approve the Consent Agenda as <br />presented. <br />• VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS' <br />7:05 p.m. - Mayor Linke opened the public hearing to consider 3009 <br />County Road H, Steve Borden, Accessary Building which <br />had been continued from the March 23, 1992 meeting at <br />7:05 p.m. <br />Ric Minetor, Director of Public Works/City Engineer <br />asked the Council to continue this public hearing to <br />May 11, 1992 as the Planning Commission will review <br />and act upon this item on May 6, 1992. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Blanchard to continue the <br />public hearing to consider 3009 County Road H, <br />Steve Borden, Accessory building to May 11, 1992 <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />ITEM NOT ON AGENDA: <br />Don Brager, Finance Director, reviewed a memorandum which had been hand <br />carried to the meeting regarding the janitorial contract proposals. Don <br />Brager received six proposals which ranged in amount from $1487 to $659. <br />The low bidder was Contract Cleaning Specialists which has been the City's <br />:leaning company for the past eight years and has done an excellent job. <br />
