Mayor Linke read Resolution No. 4215 Commending the Irondale Basketball Association Sixth Grade Girls' Traveling Team and presented the same to the team and their coaches. 3. Rick Wriskey, Forester for the City of Mounds View, presented the City with the "Ten Year Tree City USA Award" given by the Arbor Day Foundation in that the City had to meet certain criteria. In addition to this award the City of Mounds View will receive a Ten Year Tree City USA-flag and Ten Year Tree City USA signs. RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR: Michael Janssen, 2440 Clearview, asked if the Council was looking into residential parking only on Clearview Avenue. Mayor Linke responded that parking signs had just been placed on the other streets and that the Council had not heard if there were any problems on ^learview. The Council will not take any action until they are informed hat there are problems. Mayor Linke asked Mr. Janssen how the parking was now that the signs were up. Mr. Janssen indicated that Clearview had received some overflow parking, but not a major amount. Mr. Janssen stated that he had brought in a petition signed by his neighbors previously and that he and his neighbors on Clearview felt that residential parking was the way to proceed. Mayor Linke reassured Mr. Janssen that the residential parking is not a dead issue and is still under advisement by the Council. CONSENT AGENDA Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, read the proposed Consent Agenda. Mayor Linke asked if any member of the Council desired to remove any item from the proposed Consent Agenda. No items were removed. MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Quick to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried PUBLIC HEARINGS• There were no public hearings scheduled for this evening.
