<br />City of Mounds View <br />1125.02 1125.03 (Rev. 2/04) <br /> <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Building Permits: Applications for any kind of building permit shall contain such <br />information as may be deemed necessary for the proper enforcement of the Code. The <br />Building Inspector shall issue the building permit only after determining that the building <br />plans, together with the application, comply with the terms of this Title. (1988 Code <br />§40.27) <br /> <br /> <br />1125.04: FEES: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. Base Fee: To defray administrative and other costs of processing applications for <br />rezoning, variances or conditional use permits, a nonrefundable base fee shall be paid at the <br />time an application is filed with the City. The minimum base fee shall be established by <br />resolution approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Deposit: <br /> <br /> a. An additional deposit shall be paid to cover all costs of public notices, materials and staff <br />or consultant time spent in review, research or preparation of material for said application in <br />excess of the base fee. The applicant shall be given an estimate of these costs in excess of <br />the base fee and shall deposit such amount with the City. An additional deposit shall be paid <br />whenever the City Clerk-Administrator determines that additional costs will be incurred <br />beyond those initially estimated. No action on the application shall be taken by the City <br />until such fees and deposits have been paid as required. <br /> <br /> b. Any portion of the deposit not spent or encumbered shall be refunded to the applicant <br />within thirty (30) days after consideration of the application is completed. Whenever an <br />application is withdrawn prior to referral to the Planning and Zoning Commission, a refund <br />shall be made of any portion of the deposit that has not been so spent or encumbered. <br /> <br /> c. No building permit or activity, for which purpose said application is intended, may be <br />issued or allowed until an additional cost over and above the deposits has been paid. (1988 <br />Code §40.28) <br /> <br /> <br />1125.05: ENFORCEMENT OF PROVISIONS: This Title shall be administered and <br />enforced by the City Clerk-Administrator or a designee as approved by the City Council, who is <br />hereby designated as the Zoning Administrator. The Zoning Administrator may institute in the <br />name of the City any appropriate actions or proceedings against a violator as provided by statute, <br />Charter or Code. (1988 Code §40.29) <br />
