• Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />Page Two <br />December 27, 1993 <br />VOTE• <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays Motion Carried <br />SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS: <br />There was no special order of business. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, read the Consent Agenda adding two <br />licenses under Gasoline Stations (Phillips and Clark Oil) as fees and <br />applications had been received over the Christmas Holiday weekend. <br />Mayor Linke asked if there were any items the Council desired removed <br />from the Consent Agenda. <br />There were no items removed from the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Trude to Adopt the Consent Agenda as amended. <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />RESIDENTS REOUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR <br />• There were no resident comments or requests at this meeting. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />a. 7:05 p.m. - Consideration of Certification of Delinquent Utility <br />Bills, Tree and Weed Removal Invoices to Ramsey County for <br />Collection with 1994 Property Taxes <br />Mayor Linke called the public hearing to order at 7:13 p.m. <br />Don Brager, Finance Director-Treasurer, explained that letters were <br />sent to customers with delinquent utility bills, delinquent tree <br />removal bills or miscellaneous charges explaining that there would <br />be a public hearing to consider the certification of those bills to <br />Ramsey County for collection with the 1994 property taxes. Brager <br />further explained that since the mailing of those letters, many of <br />the bills had been paid in full. The remaining bills are listed as <br />a part of Resolution No. 4467 Levying a Tax for Delinquent Utility <br />Bills., Tree Removal and Miscellaneous Charges Over a One Year <br />Period. <br />Samantha Orduno, City <br />that the residents wi <br />that revenue is taken <br />• Orduno explained that <br />serious impact on the <br />Administrator, commented that the City assumes <br />L1 pay these bills on a timely basis and <br />into account when the budget is prepared. <br />when these bills are not paid, there is a <br />City's budget. <br />
