Consideration of Change for Single Owner to Corporation for <br />Liquor, 2840 Highway 10 <br />Michele Severson, Deputy Clerk, explained that the City Council <br />had approved an off-sale intoxicating liquor license to Stanley <br />Murzyn, Sr'. on October 25th, 1993. Mr. Murzyn has filed <br />corporation papers with the Secretary of State's Office and <br />has supplied the City with the Certificate of Incorporation for <br />Murzyn Liquors. This is a change in status from a single <br />ownership to a corporation. Severson reported that Mr. Murzyn <br />had completed all of the necessary paperwork. <br />• MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Wuori to Table Change from Single to <br />Corporation Status of Murzyn Liquor, 2840 Highway 10 <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />B. Consideration of Upper Midwest Golden Gloves Boxing Event to be <br />Held at Bel-Rae Ballroom, 5394 Edgewood Drive on January 25, <br />1994 <br />Michele Severson, Deputy Clerk, explained that Upper Midwest <br />Golden Gloves requested to conduct an amateur boxing event at <br />the Bel-Rae Ballroom on January 25, 1994. Severson reported <br />that all necessary paperwork had been completed and that <br />per Minnesota Statutes, 1992, 341.08, it is stated that before <br />the State Boxing Commission will issue a license for an event <br />to be held in a certain municipality, the municipality must <br />pans a resolution permitting the conduct of such event. <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />C. Consideration of Purchase of a Snow Blower Attachment for the <br />Skid Loader for Blowing Sidewalks, Easements and Rinks <br />Mary Saarion, Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, <br />reported. that the Park and Recreation Department and Public <br />Works would like to purchase a piece of equipment that. would <br />serve both departments in snow removal for sidewalks and <br />easements throughout the City as well as rink maintenance. <br />
