MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 813-05 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE SYSCO SECOND ADDITION <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT AND PROPOSED REZONING OF THE TRANSFERRED LAND; <br />PLANNING CASES NO. MA2005-001 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, SYSCO Minnesota, represented by president Phil Seipp, has applied <br />for a major subdivision to divide three acres of land from SYSCO Outlot A combining it with <br />Lot 1, Block 2 of SYSCO Addition and rezoning it to be consistent with the balance of the <br />SYSCO property; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, SYSCO Minnesota is located at 2400 County Road J and is zoned <br />PUD, Planned Unit Development, bearing a future land use designation of Heavy Industrial <br />(HI) according to the City’s Comprehensive Plan; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the preliminary plat date-stamped August 25, 2005 identifies the three <br />acre parcel to be divided from SYSCO Outlot A, which can be legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the three acre parcel to be combined with Lot 1 Block 2 SYSCO to <br />create Lot 1 Block 1 SYSCO Second Addition is presently zoned I-1, Light Industrial; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed major subdivision encompasses land within a Wetland <br />Zoning District and because wetlands will be impacted, a Rice Creek Watershed District <br />permit is needed as is a Mounds View Wetland Alteration Permit; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the following documents <br />regarding this proposal: <br /> <br />1. Planning Application <br />2. Zoning Map <br />3. Preliminary Plat, date stamped Aug 25, 2005 <br />4. Parcel A Survey and Description <br />5. Staff Report <br />
