• Page 1 <br />March 24, 1997 <br />Mounds View City Council <br />APF~O~fE~ <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />March 24, 1997 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />********************************************************************************** <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor McCarty at 7:00 p.m. on March 24, 1997. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />ROLL CALL <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor McCarty, Council members Trude, <br />Quick, Koopmeiners and Stigney <br />ALSO PRESENT: Chuck Whiting, Clerk Administrator <br />Pam Sheldon, Community Development Director <br />Jim Ericson, Planning Associate <br />Mary Saarion, Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry <br />Floyd Olson, City Attorney <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: <br />There were no additions to the agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br />March 10,1997 -City Council Meeting: <br />Mayor McCarty noted a correction to the minutes of March 10, 1997. He noted that on Page 3, Line 1, <br />Council member Stigney made a motion to postpone the hiring for the Recreation Program Supervisor position <br />until such time as the Council had an opportunity to review and discuss the personnel policy and to authorize <br />staff to hire a temporary person during the interim. There was no Second to that motion, and Mayor McCarty <br />noted that Mr. Koopmeiner's friendly amendment which occurred immediately following Mr. Stigney's motion <br />was inadvertently taken as a second to the motion. <br />
