M.V. Charter Commission Minutes of 11/28/79 - (cont'd. ) (2) <br /> • <br /> VIII. Approval of meeting minutes of October 25, 1979: <br /> Item V should be corrected to read as follows: "B. Doty made reference <br /> to Item VIII of the October 11, 1979 minutes and presented a bill from <br /> City Attorney, Richard Meyers, in the amount of $78.75. Chairman Doty <br /> indicated that the Charter Commission had approved payment of these charges." <br /> Item VII, third sentence, should be corrected to read as follows: "Loeding <br /> stated that Notaro might not sign because he did not think he would have <br /> a chance to read the completed Charter." <br /> Item IX - the sequence of the two paragraphs should be inverted, i.e., <br /> to be reversed in position. <br /> Item XI should be corrected to read as follows: "N. Loeding and R. White <br /> volunteered to proofread the tear sheet of the Charter before publication." <br /> Thereupon a motion was made by B. Beutel that the minutes of October 25, <br /> 1979 as presented and corrected be adopted. Seconded by D. McCarty. <br /> Carried unanimously. <br /> • IX. Motion made by D. McCarty that the minutes of the Special Meeting held <br /> on November 15, 1979, at the Bel Rae Ballroom be approved as presented. <br /> Seconded by D. Lykke. Carried unanimously. <br /> X. Chairman Doty made reference to a bill in the amount of $201.25 from <br /> City Attorney, Richard Meyers, for services of 5,75 hours. Following <br /> discussion, a motion was made by D. McCarty to table approval of the <br /> payment of the bill until the Commission obtained an itemized statement. <br /> Seconded by N. Loeding. Carried unanimously. <br /> XI. Ruth White stated that upon reviewing past minutes of meetings she noted <br /> that the minutes of August 28, 1979, were not signed by anyone indicating <br /> who did the minutes, as she was absent from this meeting. Also, that her <br /> absence was not recorded in the minutes of the meeting. Chairman Doty <br /> stated that the minutes were taken by Connie Langager, the city recording <br /> secretary. <br />
