• <br />• <br />• <br />Page 5 <br />August 11, 1997 <br />Mounds View City Council <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Public Hearing and First Reading of Ordinance No. 602, An Ordinance Related to Wetland Zoning <br />Regulations and Amending Title 1000, Chapter 1010, Sections 1010.07,1010.08 and 1010.09 of the <br />Mounds View Municipal Code. <br />Acting Mayor Koopmeiners opened the Public Hearing at 7:58 p.m. <br />Mr. Jim Ericson, Planning Associate, briefly summarized the changes which would made to Section 1010 as a <br />result of the approval of the Ordinance. In essence, anyone living within 100 feet of a wetland will find it <br />easier to make changes on their properties. <br />The public hearing was closed at 8:00 p.m. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Trude to approve the First Reading of Ordinance No. 602, An Ordinance Related <br />to Wetland Zoning Regulations and Amending Title 1000, Chapter 1010, Sections 1010.07, 1010.08 and <br />1010.09 of the Mounds View Municipal Code, and to waive the reading. <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carned <br />Public Hearing and Consideration of Resolution No. 5145, A Resolution Approving a Conditional Use <br />Permit for Children's Home Society at 5394 Edgewood Drive. <br />The Public Hearing was opened at 8:00 p.m. <br />Mr. Ericson provided a summary of the Conditional Use Permit request for Children's Home Society. He noted <br />that this day care center would be located in the Mounds view Community Center at 5394 Edgewood Drive, <br />providing care for up to 98 children. The facility would consist of 9,375 square feet. <br />He provided information in regard to the outside play area, parking and access to the facility, etc. <br />The Public Hearing was closed at 8:05 p.m. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Quick to Approve Resolution No. 5145, A Resolution Approving a Conditional <br />Use Permit for Children's Home Society at 5394 Edgewood Drive. <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS• <br />A. Review Community Development Quarterly Report. <br />This item was removed per request of staff, however Mr. Whiting stated staff would continue to keep the <br />Council updated in regard to building permits, projects, etc. <br />B. Consideration of Resolution No. 5147, Approving a Minor Subdivision at 7720-7730 Silver Lake <br />Road. <br />
