Motion passed unanimously on a voice vote. Laurie Schley <br /> was declared the Vice Chair. <br /> Elections for Second Vice Chair 1995-96: <br /> Motion by Russ Warren, second by Virgil Beyer, to cast a unanimous ballot for <br /> Richard Oman. Motion passed unanimously on a voice vote. Richard Oman was <br /> declared the Second Vice Chair. <br /> Elections for Secretary 1995-96: <br /> Julie Trude declined nomination. Russ Warren nominated Richard Oman for <br /> Secretary. There were no other nominations. Motion by Russ Warren, second by <br /> Julie Trude to cast a unanimous ballot for Richard Oman. Motion passed <br /> unanimously on a voice vote. The commission members found no prohibition in <br /> the by-laws that prevented Richard Oman from holding the office of Secretary and <br /> Second Vice Chair. <br /> • <br /> IV. Approval of Minutes <br /> Motion by Laurie Schley, second by Dave Long to approve the Minutes of the <br /> October 12, 1994 meeting as submitted. Motion passed on a voice vote. <br /> Motion by Duane McCarty, second by Virgil Beyer, to approve the Minutes of the <br /> December 6 meeting as submitted. Motion passed on a voice vote. <br /> NOTE: (At request of Duane McCarty) The Motion approved at the Special <br /> Meeting of the Commission on December 6, 1994 is now a moot point since the <br /> City Clerk has filed the term limit charter amendment passed at the fall election. <br /> V. Old Business <br /> Chair Oman noted that the Charter Commission now has four new members. He <br /> explained that the commission had been meeting for about two and one-half years <br /> to review the City's Charter. During that time the Charter has been re-drafted by <br /> • -2- <br />
