<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9004 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUMMARY ABATEMENT ORDER OF PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 7941 EDGEWOOD DRIVE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has conducted inspections of the property located at 7941 <br />Edgewood Drive, legally described as: <br /> <br />PID: 05-30-23-31-0062 <br /> <br />Lot 22, Block 15 of Pinewood Terrace No. 5 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City finds that the property is in violation of the Mounds View City <br />Code: <br /> <br />Section 607.03, Subd 3(e): <br />The depositing of, maintaining, permitting or failing to remove, garbage, trash, rubbish, <br />bottles, cans and other refuse on any property within the City, including large quantities <br />of organic debris and materials, which accumulated by other than natural means, except <br />properly maintained compost piles. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has issued Abatement Orders on: <br /> <br />May 24, 2018 <br />June 15, 2018 <br />August 1, 2018 (Certified Mail) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the property owner, Robert Kuykendall, has not responded to these notices, <br />and has not abated the public nuisance. Staff has obtained a cost estimate of $650 from Upper <br />Cut Tree Service to abate the violations. It is Staff’s practice that when abatement costs exceed <br />normal amounts, that approval of the abatement be approved by the City Council; and, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED THAT the City Council <br />approves the abatement of City Code violations, located at 7941 Edgewood Road, with all costs <br />to be paid by the property owner, or assessed to property taxes. <br /> <br />Adopted this 27th day of August 2018. <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Carol A.
