We have spent millions of <br />dollars on this project. This project is now scheduled for <br />• completion April 15. We have moved ahead based on good faith <br />working with the Council and City staff. You have before you a <br />schedule that was provided by SEH, your architectural engineering <br />consultant with the City in which construction is to begin on the <br />intersection, of the "right in," and "right out," to the theater <br />as of April 12, 1999. In order to get to that point in which the <br />theater then could open no later than May 1, 1999, by tabling or <br />postponing the giving of these plans to the State of Minnesota, <br />you are jeopardizing the opening of that theater and the ability <br />of that theater to do its business. Mr. Smith stated if this is <br />tabled tonight and we find ourselves not being able to open on <br />time based on that, then we have to look at our legal avenues we <br />must have to take from the City standpoint individually so that <br />we may progress based on what the City has stated. <br />Gary Collis, 2390 Pinewood Circle.
