All in favor of items on the consent agenda. Ayes - <br />5. Nays-0. <br />7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />7A. Discussion on city cell phones and their usage. <br />Move this discussion to the work session. <br />At the work session if staff could bring forth the actual cost incurred last year using cell <br />phones and the cost justifications for which cell phones are needed by whom in the city <br />and see if there is some alternative means of City communications. <br />8. RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR <br />• David Jahnke, 8428 Eastwood Road. Mr. Jahnke asked about the resolution on <br />Edgewood Drive that was passed last week 4 to 1 if this was a preliminary vote w <br />MnDOT. <br />Mr. Jopke stated staff was seeking direction in permission to submit preliminary p <br />MnDOT for Edgewood Drive relocation and signal construction on 10 and prelim <br />plans have been sent to them subsequent to that meeting. <br />Mr. Jahnke is concerned about the $8,000 and where that is coming from. <br />ith <br />laps to <br />inary <br />Mr. Whiting stated there was little over $200,000 in the park dedication fund and the City <br />can tap into some of this money for that which we already have this in the fund now. It is <br />used for maintaining the parks and maintaining the equipment and buildings. Woodcrest <br />had allotted for $30,000 for building development on Woodcrest Park but because of the <br />land it is not feasible to build there. <br />9A. PUBLIC HEARING AND SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE N0.626 <br />Mayor Coughlin opened the public hearing for the second reading of Ordinance 626, <br />relating to the changing of the Planning Commission memberships to nine members. <br />Ms. Schmidt stated by direction of the City Council, staff has amended chapters 401 and <br />405, through the drafting of Ordinances 626, and 627, which increases the Planning <br />Commission membership as well as the Park and Recreation commission membership to <br />nine members. This is the second and final reading of the ordinance for those items. <br />
