It is important to note that <br />any contract entered into by the SBMFD and the City of Fridley, must first be approved by the <br />SBMFD Board of Directors, Spring Lake Park City Council, Blaine City Council and Mounds <br />View City Council. <br />SBMFD PROFILE <br />The Spring Lake Park -Blaine -Mounds View Fire Department (SBMFD), also known as the <br />Spring Lake Park Fire Department, Incorporated, was founded in 1944 and serves three <br />communities totaling 85,000 permanent residents with a service area of 40 square miles. The <br />SBMFD is a non-profit corporation that receives its annual funding from the three cities it serves. <br />Our mission, vision and values guide our organization.
