Mr. Omar has <br />been employed by the City for one (1) year and seven (7) months, since January 17, <br />2017. Attached is Resolution 9013, which authorizes severance to Mr. Omar in <br />accordance with the City's Personnel Manual. <br />Discussion <br />Section 3.47 of the personnel manual provides for payout of unused vacation and <br />compensatory time. Employees with less than two (2) years of service are not eligible <br />for payout of sick time hours. Mr. Omar's position was eliminated with 14.94 hours of <br />vacation. Mr. Omar had a balance of four (4) hours of compensatory time.
