RESOLUTION 9024 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING KENNEDY AND GRAVEN AS LEGAL COUNSEL FOR THE CITY OF <br />MOUNDS VIEW CIVIL WORK <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has received civil legal services from Kennedy <br />and Graven for more than two decades; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received an inquiry from Kennedy and Graven to migrate <br />from a formal contact to a letter detailing the agreement/rates; and <br />WHEREAS, Council was in support of this; and <br />WHEREAS, Administrator Zikmund conducted a site visit of the firms office and met <br />with Mr. Riggs to negotiate the terms of services; and <br />WHEREAS, Kennedy and Graven has the depth and experience to continue serving the <br />City well and their proposal is consistent with market conditions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve Resolution 9024 retaining the law firm of Kennedy and Graven for Civil Legal <br />Services. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of December, 2018. <br />Carol A.
