The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 600, Chapter <br />603, Section 603.05, subdivision 2 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the <br />double -underlined material as follows: <br />Subd. 2. Disposal: Except for purposes of composting under subdivision 1 above or of <br />authorized disposal at designatedy County yard waste collection sites, it shall be <br />unlawful for any person to dispose of yard waste on private or public lands located in the <br />City. All yard waste must be disposed of in the manner prescribed by law. <br />SECTION 4•& The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 600, Chapter <br />603, Section 603.06, subdivision I(d) of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the <br />double-rmderlined material and deleting the strieken material as follows: <br />d. Liability Insurance: Before a license is issued, the applicant shall file with the City <br />Administrator evidence that the applicant has in effect public liability insurance for the <br />hauler's business and for all vehicles that will be used to haul in the City ,.r" s - <br />SECTION S& The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 600, Chapter <br />606, Section 606.03 of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the double -underlined <br />material and deleting the strielEen material as follows: <br />606.03: DESTRUCTION BY CITY AUTHORITY: When the owner or person in control <br />of any plot of ground fails to destroy grasses or weeds growing thereon as provided herein, the <br />Code Enforcement Official. or its designeg. c..p int—deet. ~c n»r.lie .z errs e f the City shall <br />destroy or cause to be cut such grasses or weeds and any expense incurred by the City tmder–the <br />- <br />.t/.,..:t_. of the c..n,..ant,.na,.nt of Pebliie War -vs in so doing shall be a charge against the owner <br />or other person so failing, which may be recovered on behalf of the City by recording a lien <br />91 <br />
