He reported City Hall had a little more room now 2 <br />that the Public Works Facility was complete. He discussed the remodeling needs at City Hall in 3 <br />further detail with the Council and recommended approval of the architectural proposal from 4 <br />Beutow 2 Architects. 5 <br /> 6 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9052, 7 <br />Approving the Proposal from Beutow 2 Architects for the City Hall Remodel Project. 8 <br /> 9 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 10 <br /> 11 <br />K. Resolution 9050, Approving a Market Adjustment for 2019. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Finance Director Beer requested the Council approve a market adjustment for 2019. He 14 <br />explained in 2017 a market study was commissioned for non-union employees as an effort to 15 <br />assist in retaining staff. He noted there were two employees at City hall that had not received a 16 <br />market adjustment. He commented further on the proposed changes and recommended approval. 17 <br /> 18 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9050, 19 <br />Approving a Market Adjustment for 2019. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Council Member Bergeron stated he had one resident commend the City for being so close to the 22 <br />proper pay grades, and for meeting all gender equity requirements. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Mayor Mueller thanked the HR Committee for bringing this item before the City Council. 25 <br /> 26 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 27 <br /> 28 <br />9. REPORTS 29 <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Council Member Gunn reported the I35W Coalition met and were going to begin holding 32 <br />community meetings in early 2019. She noted the I35W improvements would begin in 2019 and 33 <br />would take three years to complete. She explained the sound walls would be completed in 34 <br />conjunction with this project and not at the end. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Council Member Gunn indicated the Police Foundation would be meeting next on Tuesday, 37 <br />December 11th. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Mayor Mueller stated the Festival in the Park Committee would meet next on Tuesday, January 40 <br />15th at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Center. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Council Member Bergeron reported he attended a Cable Commission meeting last Wednesday. 43 <br />He noted the group discussed CTV’s new mission statement and how to move forward in 2019. 44 <br /> 45
