<br />RESOLUTION 9073 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS AND APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE 2018 <br />GREENFIELD AND GROVELAND TENNIS AND BASKETBALL COURT <br />REHABILITATION PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Plans and specifications for the rehabilitation of the tennis and basketball <br />courts at Greenfield and Groveland Parks were approved and authorized for bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bituminous Roadways, Inc. submitted the lowest bid in the amount of <br />$197,575.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council approved a construction contract with Bituminous, to perform the <br />tennis and basketball court rehabilitation project for a total of $218,905.25 in Resolution 8978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bituminous has successfully completed all project construction and met all other <br />contract requirements for the Project with a substantial completion date of September 30, 2018 and a <br />final construction cost of $207,408.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Staff recommends accepting the completed construction work and issuing <br />final payment for $94,166.00 to Bituminous Roadways Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. All work completed under the contract between the City and Bituminous Roadways Inc. for the <br />2018 Greenfield and Groveland Tennis and Basketball Court Rehabilitation Project is hereby <br />accepted and approved. <br /> <br />2. The Finance Director is authorized to issue final payment of $94,164.00 to Bituminous Roadways <br />Inc., account 451-4470-7050. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 28h day of January, 2019 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ___________________________________ <br /> Carol A.
