Mounds View EDA January 7, 2019 <br />Special Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br />the developer’s attorney. He noted some of the minor changes could be supported. He explained <br />he would be speaking with the developer’s attorney later this week to resolve these concerns. He <br />recommended the EDA approve the purchase agreement documents provided by staff. <br /> <br />Executive Director Zikmund reported the developer supported approval of the purchase <br />agreement as presented by staff without the proposed changes. <br /> <br />President Mueller indicated the developer gave the EDA his verbal approval of the document at <br />their last meeting. Executive Director Zikmund stated this was the case. <br /> <br />After receiving no public comment, President Mueller closed the public hearing at 7:27 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Gunn asked if the developer can resell the property after purchasing the parcels <br />from the EDA. City Attorney Riggs reported this could not occur per the language within the <br />Purchase Agreement or per State Statute. He explained if improvements do not occur on the <br />property, the land would revert back to the EDA. <br /> <br />Executive Director Zikmund reviewed the developer’s timeline for this project. He stated he was <br />very impressed by the developer. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 19-EDA-320, <br />Approving the Sale of EDA Owned Land at Crossroad Pointe. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />8.
