RESOLUTION 7243 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDERING THE 2009-2010 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />WHEREAS, on December 11, 2006 the City Council held a public hearing <br />and approved Resolution 6982 approving the Feasibility Report for the 2007- <br />2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed 2009-2010 Street and Utility Improvement <br />Project will be the same project as the proposed 2007-2008 Street and Utility <br />Improvement Project, with the addition of Red Oak Drive north of Sherwood <br />Road; and <br />WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City proceed with the 2009-2010 <br />Street and Utility Improvement Project based on the feasibility report for the <br />2007-2008 Street and Utility Improvement Project and developed based on the <br />Street and Utility Improvement Program adopted on October 22, 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, should the Council wish to proceed with this project, the next <br />step in the public improvement process is to order the project; and <br />WHEREAS, should the Council wish to proceed, the next step in the <br />engineering process is to order the preparation of construction plans and <br />specifications; and <br />WHEREAS, the installation of water quality and storm water runoff <br />reduction devices such as raingardens may require additional temporary <br />construction easements and permanent easements; and <br />WHEREAS, the financing for this project is proposed to be derived from a <br />combination of several sources, including, but not limited to: the City of Mounds <br />View Utility Franchise Fee, Municipal State Aid (MSA), Tax Increment Financing, <br />and general city wide tax levy. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />Said improvements are hereby ordered and shall hereafter be <br />known and referred to as the 2009-2010 Street and Utility <br />Improvement Project. <br />2. Said ordering of the improvements shall be valid until March 24, <br />2009 - a period of one year from the date of the Public Hearing. <br />
