SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />None. <br />8. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. Resolution 9024, City Attorney Contract 2019 through 2021. <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve the City Attorney contract with <br />Kennedy & Graven for years 2019 through 2021. <br />Mayor Mueller asked what services were covered by the retainer. City Attorney Riggs discussed <br />the services that were covered by the retainer, which included Ordinance review, meeting <br />attendance, etc. He commented further on the project files that were not included in the retainer. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9024, City <br />Attorney Contract 2019 through 2021. <br />Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />B. Resolution 9023, Approving New Title and Pay Rate for Jacob Martin, House, <br />Code & Fire Inspector. <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve the new title and pay rate for Jacob <br />Martin the City's House, Code and Fire Inspector. He noted the Council discussed this matter at <br />a recent work session meeting. Staff recommended approval of the new title and pay rate. <br />Council Member Bergeron commented on how this new position would increase efficiencies and <br />save money for the City. Finance Director Beer reported this was the case. <br />Council Member Bergeron thanked Jacob Martin for his dedicated service to the City. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9023, <br />Approving New Title and Pay Rate for Jacob Martin, House, Code & Fire Inspector. <br />Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />Council Member Gunn stated on Saturday, November 3rd the Mounds View Lions will be hosting <br />a Waffle Breakfast at the Mounds View Community Center from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. <br />Council Member Bergeron stated on Thursday, October 25th he would be attending the North <br />Suburban Cable Commission meeting. He noted the group would be discussing the 2019 budget. <br />
