The building is set <br />back about 300' from Woodale Dr ROW, and about <br />315' from the Co Rd H ROW. <br />Brick fagade will match existing brick fagade, <br />with metal accents at major door entrances. <br />At loading dock in the NW corner of the <br />building. <br />Construction is planned, Fall 2018 thru July <br />2020, and during the summer of 2021. <br />City Attorney to determine if one is necessary. <br />Summary <br />The Mounds View School District has proposed additions onto Edgewood Middle <br />School, including a swimming pool, gymnasium, classrooms, and parking lot <br />expansions. The project requires a Development Review, which is a review for <br />compliance with City Code requirements. <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the request on November 7, 2018, recommending <br />approval (Resolution 1089-18). <br />The Planning Commission made recommendations, specific to: <br />1. Adding a sidewalk on the north side of Co Rd H, and attention to crosswalks and <br />pedestrian safety at all crossings. <br />2. Assuring that there is adequate lighting of all pedestrian ways, and specifically, the <br />sidewalk alongside the south driveway. <br />5 City Code, Section 1106.04, Subd 1 (Conditional Uses: Public or semi-public buildings...) <br />
