To Reconvene the City Council Meeting. 4 <br /> 5 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Mayor Mueller reconvened the City Council meeting at 7:58 p.m. 8 <br /> 9 <br />9. REPORTS 10 <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Bob King, Mounds View Police Foundation, provided the Council with an update from the 13 <br />Mounds View Police Foundation. He thanked the Mounds View/New Brighton Rotary Club for 14 <br />their generous donation. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Gunn reported the I-35W Coalition met in early March. She noted work was 17 <br />beginning on the I-35W MnPASS project. She explained trees were being removed in order to 18 <br />make room for the sound walls and commented on the changes that were coming for 2019. She 19 <br />indicated this project would take three years to complete. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Mayor Mueller requested staff put a link on the City’s website that would provide residents with 22 <br />information on the I-35W MnPASS project. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported on Wednesday, March 13th he would be attending a 25 <br />Mounds View Business Council meeting where MnDOT would be the guest speaker. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated on Thursday, March 14th he would attending an NYFS 28 <br />Executive Committee meeting. On on Tuesday, March 19th he would be attending a Twin Cities 29 <br />Gateway Board meeting and on Wednesday, March 20th he would be attending an NYFS HR 30 <br />meeting. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked the Public Works Department for all of the efforts to clear 33 <br />the City’s streets after the recent snow events. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Council Member Bergeron stated he attended a Cable Commission meeting last Thursday where 36 <br />financial matters were discussed. Finance Director Beer noted franchise fee revenues were down 37 <br />10% in 2018. Further discussion ensued regarding how CTV was changing their programming. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Council Member Gunn requested residents keep their fire hydrants and storm drains free and 40 <br />clear of snow. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Mayor Mueller stated on Thursday, March 7th she attended the North Metro Chamber of 43 <br />Commerce Gala Event with Assistant City Administrator Beeman. 44 <br /> 45
