Resolution 9079 Approving the Amendment to Resolution 8969 for Peter 6 <br />Szurek Advancing to Step 3 of Pay Plan Effective 12-18-2018 According to 7 <br />Offer Letter. 8 <br /> 9 <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve an amendment to Resolution 8969 10 <br />for Peter Szurek advancing to Step 3 of the pay plan effective December 18, 2018 which was in 11 <br />accordance in the offer letter. He reported Peter Szurek has far surpassed staff’s expectations as 12 <br />an employee. 13 <br /> 14 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9079 15 <br />Approving the Amendment to Resolution 8969 for Peter Szurek Advancing to Step 3 of Pay Plan 16 <br />Effective 12-18-2018 According to Offer Letter. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Mayor Mueller requested staff express the Council’s apologies for the oversight. 19 <br /> 20 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 21 <br /> 22 <br />F. Resolution 9081, Approving a Construction Contract with Bergerson 23 <br />Caswell, Inc. for 2019 Municipal Well No. 2 Rehabilitation Project. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Public Works Director Peterson requested the Council approve a construction contract with 26 <br />Bergerson Caswell, Inc. for the 2019 Municipal Well No. 2 Rehabilitation Project. He explained 27 <br />this well was last rehabilitated in 2010. He discussed the number of bids that were received for 28 <br />this project and noted Bergerson Caswell was the low bidder. Staff recommended approval of the 29 <br />construction contract. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked what work would be completed on this well. Public Works 32 <br />Director Peterson explained the pump and the motor would be pulled, cleaned and inspected. He 33 <br />reported Well No. 2 would be out of service for a short period of time. 34 <br /> 35 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull.
