RESOLUTION 9038 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT (COLA), INSURANCE <br />CONTRIBUTION, AND INSURANCE OPT -OUT PAYMENT AMOUNTS FOR 2019 <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Compensation Schedule must be annually approved <br />by Council Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide a competitive compensation <br />package and has traditionally awarded the same cost of living adjustment and insurance <br />contribution to all employee groups in order to maintain internal equity; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has offered an Insurance Opt -out payment; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends a COLA increase of 3.00% for non-union <br />employees, a monthly insurance contribution of $1,125, and an insurance opt -out <br />payment of $275 per month for all employees, effective January 1, 2019 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a 3.00% Cost of Living Adjustment for non-union employees, a monthly <br />insurance contribution of $1125, and a monthly insurance opt -out payment of $275 for all <br />employees, effective January 1, 2019. <br />Adopted this 26th day of November, 2018. <br />Carol A.
