Mounds View City Council April 8, 2049 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br />1 Dedication Fund. Staff commented further on the proposed project and recommended approval. <br />2 <br />3 Mayor Mueller questioned if picnic tables would be purchased for the park shelters. Public <br />4 Works Director Peterson stated he was waiting on a bid for the picnic tables and anticipated he <br />5 would be purchasing four tables for each shelter. <br />6 <br />7 MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9097, <br />8 Approving the Purchase and Installation of (2) 20' x 20' Park Shelters for City Hall Park. <br />9 <br />10 Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />11 <br />12 9. REPORTS <br />13 A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />14 <br />15 Council Member Gunn invited the public to attend Coffee with a Cop on Tuesday, April 91h at <br />16 9:00 a.m. at McDonald's. <br />17 <br />18 Council Member Gunn reported the Mounds View Police Foundation would be meeting on <br />19 Tuesday, April 91h at 4:30 p.m. <br />20 <br />21 Council Member Gunn stated last Thursday she attended a press conference for the Sexual <br />22 Assault Response Collaboration. She noted Police Chief Harder was present, along with all other <br />23 police departments in the Ramsey County area. <br />24 <br />25 Council Member Gunn reported on Saturday, April 27th the SBM Fire Department would be <br />26 installing smoke detectors within the community. She explained the fire department was seeking <br />27 volunteers to assist with the event. <br />28 <br />29 Council Member Meehlhause stated he would be attending an NYFS Executive Committee <br />30 meeting on Thursday, April 11th. On Wednesday, April 17th he would be attending an NYFS <br />31 Human Resources Committee meeting. <br />32 <br />33 Council Member Meehlhause reported last Thursday he and Andy Thomas attended the YMCA's <br />34 Annual State of the YMCA breakfast gathering. <br />35 <br />36 Council Member Meehlhause requested the Council review the Citizen of the Year criteria. He <br />37 stated he would like to have long-standing residents be considered for this award even if they <br />38 move out of the community. <br />39 <br />40 Mayor Mueller stated on Friday, April 131h she would be attending an Executive Board meeting <br />41 for the Minnesota Women in City Government. <br />42 <br />43 Mayor Mueller noted she would be attending the Minnesota Mayor's Conference at the end of <br />44 April. <br />45 <br />
