The <br />matter reached a negotiated settlement. It is recommended that the council adopt a <br />resolution approving the mediated settlement agreement and release of claims. <br /> <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: <br /> <br />As recommended by City Attorney and in order to be in line with our strategic planning <br />efforts to be more efficient and in order to properly handle HR matters, this resolution is <br />recommended for approval. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br /> <br />The settlement amount will be $90,000.00. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff and the City Attorney recommend approval of Resolution 9126, a resolution <br />approving a mediated settlement agreement and release of claims relating to the <br />dispute with Keith Demarest. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Rayla Sue Ewald <br />Human Resources Coordinator <br /> <br />
