The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9117 <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING A ONE-DAY CHARITABLE GAMBLING PREMISES <br />PERMIT FOR THE MOUNDS VIEW POLICE FOUNDATIONTO CONDUCT <br />CHARITABLE GAMBLING AT SILVERVIEW PARK ON AUGUST 17, 2019 <br />AS PART OF THE FESTIVAL IN THE PARK <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Foundation has requested that the City <br />Council allow them to conduct charitable gambling, specifically Bingo, for one day on <br />August 17, 2019, as part of the Festival in the Park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of government <br />pass a resolution specifically approving or denying requests to conduct charitable <br />gambling; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Foundation is in compliance with Mounds <br />View Municipal Code with regard to charitable gambling regulations. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby authorize the Mounds View Police Foundation to conduct charitable gambling on <br />August 17, 2019 at Silver View Park in Mounds View. <br /> <br />Adopted this 28th day of May, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Carol A.
