Item No: 5.C. <br />MOUNDs i tE ` r Meeting Date: June 24, 2019 <br />�/l��/ Type of Business: Council Consent <br />Administrator review: <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Rayla Sue Ewald, Human Resources Coordinator <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 9129, Approving Severance for Maggie Hicks <br />Police Support Manager <br />Introduction: <br />Maggie Hicks resigned from her position effective June 21, 2019. Ms. Hicks was <br />employed by the City since September 27, 2016. Attached is Resolution 9129, which <br />authorizes severance to Ms. Hicks in accordance with the City's Personnel Manual. <br />Discussion: <br />Section 3.47 of the Personnel Manual indicates that employees who resign shall be <br />compensated for any accrued and unused vacation hours and, with two or more years <br />of service employees are eligible to receive a payout of sick leave subject to the terms <br />and provisions addressed in Section 3.45(A) regarding the Retirement Health Savings <br />Plan (RHSP).
