Solid Waste Vehicles (1) General liability in the following amounts: (a) Property damage or combined single limit, $500,000 (b) Bodily injury in the following amounts: i) Per person, $1,000,000 ii) Per occurrence, $5,000,000 (2) Auto liability in the following amounts: (a) Property damage or combined single limit, $500,000 (b) Bodily injury in the following amounts: i) Per person, $1,000,000 ii) Per occurrence, $5,000,000 (3) Workers Compensation Insurance as specified by the Minnesota Department of Occupational Health and Safety and federal law. B. Roll Off Vehicles (1) General liability in the following amounts: (a) Property damage or combined single limit, $250,000 (b) Bodily injury in the following amounts: i) Per person, $1,000,000 ii) Per occurrence, $2,000,000 (2) Auto liability in the following amounts: (a) Property damage or combined single limit, $250,000.00. (b) Bodily injury in the following amounts: i) Per person, $1,000,000 ii) Per occurrence, $2,000,000 (3) Workers Compensation Insurance as specified by the Minnesota Department of Occuaational Health and Safetv and federal law. The most noteworthy change reduces the $5M per occurrence requirement to $2M for a roll off vehicle. There are a few other minor revisions as shown in blue and/or red throughout the Solid Waste Management Standards document. In addition, Appendix B, Hauler Tonnage Reporting Form, was recently revised and therefore the outdated Tonnage Reporting Form as been removed from the Standards and the revised form added. Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: Create and maintain a positive business climate where businesses want to locate and remain in Mounds View. Financial Impact: None. Recommendation: Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 9131 revising City of Mounds View "Solid Waste Management Standards".
