Ms. Van <br />Alstine was employed by the City since August 29, 2007. Attached is Resolution 9139, <br />which authorizes severance to Ms. Van Alstine in accordance with the City's Personnel <br />Manual. <br />Discussion: <br />Section 3.47 of the Personnel Manual indicates that employees who resign shall be <br />compensated for any accrued and unused vacation hours and, with two or more years <br />of service employees are eligible to receive a payout of sick leave subject to the terms <br />and provisions addressed in Section 3.45(A) regarding the Retirement Health Savings <br />Plan (RHSP).
