RESOLUTION 9138 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE <br />FESTIVAL IN THE PARK OF MOUNDS VIEW TO ALLOW WELSCH'S BIG TEN <br />TAVERN TO SELL LIQUOR DURING THE 2019 FESTIVAL IN THE PARK <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View City Code, Temporary Liquor <br />Licenses may be issued to a club, charitable, religious or non-profit organization for not <br />more than three consecutive days; and <br />WHEREAS, the Festival in the Park of Mounds View is a non-profit organization <br />that is requesting to allow Welsch's Big Ten Tavern of Arden Hills, Minnesota, to serve <br />liquor during the festival at Silver View Park on Saturday, August 17, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the Festival in the Park of Mounds View has approved Welsch's Big <br />Ten Tavern to serve liquor during the Mounds View Festival in the Park contingent on <br />City Council approval of a Temporary On -Sale Liquor License; and <br />WHEREAS, all required application forms, insurance and fees have been <br />submitted; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends approval of a Temporary On -Sale Liquor License <br />to the Mounds View Festival in the Park Committee to allow Welsch's Big Ten Tavern to <br />sell and serve liquor during the Festival in the Park; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a Temporary On -Sale Liquor License to the Festival in the Park of <br />Mounds View to allow Welsch's Big Ten Tavern, Located in Arden Hills, Minnesota, to <br />sell and serve liquor during the Mounds View Festival in the Park at Silver View Park on <br />Saturday, August 17, 2019. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of July, 2019. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Carol A.
