She stated she was also concerned <br />2 with the growing costs to fund the City's Police Department and officer's mental health. Senator <br />3 Isaacson reported the State just passed a bill that would allow for the diagnosis of PTSD from <br />4 fire or law enforcement experiences. He noted this would allow these first responders to have <br />5 access to services that was not available in the past. In addition, he understood the counselor to <br />6 student ratio was not adequate. <br />7 <br />8 Council Member Bergeron stated the Mounds View School District was excellent, but he <br />9 understood the schools could use more counselors. He appreciated the fact that Senator Isaacson <br />10 was discussing this issue at a State level. He asked if HHS would be split in two. Senator <br />11 Isaacson commented he would like to see HHS split into five different entities given the size of <br />12 this organization. <br />13 <br />14 Mayor Mueller thanked Senator Isaacson for his presentation to the Council. <br />15 <br />16 A. Proclamation for National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. <br />22 <br />23 Mayor Mueller read a proclamation in full for the record declaring October to be National <br />24 Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in the City of Mounds View. <br />25 <br />26 C. Public Hearing: Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 966, Vacating <br />32 Portions of Greenfield Avenue Right -of -Way and Easements, as part of <br />33 Crossroad Pointe. ROLL CALL VOTE <br />34 <br />35 Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council adopt an Ordinance vacating <br />36 portions of Greenfield Avenue right-of-way and easements as part of the Crossroad Pointe <br />37 development. He explained this project was located at the corner of Mounds View Boulevard <br />38 and County Road H2. He noted the project consumes two blocks of property a portion which is <br />39 bring proposed to be vacated along Greenfield Avenue. He reviewed the location of the proposed <br />40 vacation and recommended approval. <br />41 <br />42 Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 7:15 p.m. <br />43 <br />44 Hearing no public input, Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 7:16 p.m. <br />45 <br />
