To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance <br />966, Vacating Portions of Greenfield Avenue Right -of -Way and Easements, as part of Crossroad <br />Pointe. <br />ROLL CALL: Bergeron/Gunn/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller. <br />Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />B. Resolution 9165, Final Plat Approval of Crossroad Pointe. <br />Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council approve the Final Plat for <br />Crossroad Pointe. He reviewed the plans for Crossroad Pointe in further detail with the Council <br />and recommended approval of the Final Plat. <br />Mayor Mueller noted the financial impact of this project would be $18.2 million and would <br />generate an estimated $327,500 in property taxes on a yearly basis. <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked when staff anticipated the land would be closed on. <br />Community Development Director Sevald stated this would occur on November 4th or soon after <br />that date. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9165, Final <br />Plat Approval of Crossroad Pointe. <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported INH would be paying the City a park dedication fee of <br />$110,000 through this project. <br />Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />C. First Reading and Introduction of Ordinance 964, Amending City Code, <br />Section 503.04 related to 3.2% Malt Liquor License Regulations. <br />City Administrator Zikmund reviewed the first reading of an Ordinance amending City Code <br />related to 3.2% malt liquor license regulations. He explained a local business owner has <br />requested to sell 3.2% malt liquor. He reported staff has been working with the City Attorney to <br />revise City Code in order to address the current buffer in order to meet the request of the <br />applicant. It was noted Minnesota was the only State in the union that sold 3.2% malt liquor. <br />Mayor Mueller stated she supported the proposed Ordinance amendment as the current language <br />was quite antiquated. <br />Council Member Gunn requested staff amend Items C and D. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Meehlhause.
