Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />Council Member Gunn thanked everyone who attended the Mounds View Lions Spaghetti <br />Dinner last week. She noted there was a great turnout from the community. <br />Council Member Gunn reported the Mounds View Police Foundation would be meeting on <br />Tuesday, November 12tH <br />Council Member Gunn encouraged the community to attend the Mounds View Police <br />Foundation's Waffle Breakfast and bake sale on Saturday, November 16th at the Community <br />Center from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. <br />Council Member Gunn stated the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting on Tuesday, <br />November 19th <br />Council Member Gunn encouraged members of the community to consider joining the Mounds <br />View Lions by attending a meeting. She noted the Mounds View Lions meet on the 1St and 3rd <br />Thursdays of each month at Random Park at 6:30 p.m. She explained the next meeting would be <br />on Thursday, November 7th <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked all who attended the Mounds View Lions Spaghetti <br />Dinner stating there were over 200 residents that supported this event. <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he and Council Members Gunn and Bergeron are attending <br />the new American's Academy that was being sponsored by Police Officer Heineman. He <br />thanked all who were involved in coordinating this program. <br />Mayor Mueller encouraged all residents to get out and vote on Tuesday, November 5th. She <br />explained early voting would occur at the Shoreview Community Center and hours for early <br />voting would be posted on the City's website. <br />Mayor Mueller commended Amelia Apilkowski, Jessyn Florentino, Jack Nugent and Grady <br />Salzig on being National Merit Scholar Students at Irondale High School. <br />Mayor Mueller encouraged residents to be responsible drivers on Thursday, October 31St as it <br />was Halloween and there would be children walking the streets. <br />B. Reports of Staff. <br />City Administrator Zikmund stated the INH closing was scheduled for next week and noted a <br />special EDA meeting was being planned for Monday, November 4th <br />City Administrator Zikmund commented on the upcoming 2020 census. <br />C.
