RESOLUTION NO. 7354 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE TWIN CITIES NORTH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE <br />WHEREAS, a lease agreement with the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce <br />(the "Chamber") was originally negotiated in 2004, with a term running from January 1, 2004 <br />to January 1, 2009 as a tri-party lease between the City, the Chamber, and the Mermaid, <br />and was subsequently assigned to the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the lease was renegotiated in August of 2007 eliminating references <br />to the Mermaid, decreasing leased space, incorporating an annual inflator and extending <br />the duration of the lease through December 31, 2009, and <br />WHEREAS, the Chamber requests to lease 100-square feet of additional office <br />space (identified as Office "A") next to their present space and has agreed to increase their <br />lease payments by $100 per month in 2008 and $103 in 2009, and <br />WHEREAS, no other provisions of the lease agreement are affected except as noted <br />in the attached First Amendment to Lease Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Lease Agreement between the City <br />and the Chamber shall be amended in accordance with the attached First Amendment to <br />Lease Agreement document. <br />Adopted this 10th day of November, 2008. <br />v ,rte ~ r <br />Rob arty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: ` ~~ ~j x <br />Jim Ericson, Clerk -Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
