<br />The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br /> <br /> <br />Item #: 6B <br />Meeting Date: March 15, 2019 <br />Type of Business: EDC <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Economic Development Commission <br />From: Brian Beeman, Assistant City Administrator <br />Item Title/Subject: Update from Comprehensive Plan Task Force Members <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />As part of the 2018 EDC Priorities the EDC has identified the following goal: “Review Business section <br />of the Comprehensive Plan Task Force for 2018 update by utilizing the two Comprehensive Plan Task <br />Force Members who are also on the EDC” <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />When reviewing the 2018 EDC Priorities it was suggested that an update from the EDC <br />Commissioners who were appointed to the Comprehensive Plan Task Force be added to the agendas <br />going forward. The appointed EDC Task Force Members are Dennis Farmer and Teresa Muckala. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Hear an update from the EDC appointed Comprehensive Plan Task Force Members and discuss any <br />suggestions/concerns the EDC may have relating to the business section of the Comprehensive Plan <br />for the task force members to pass along to the Comprehensive Plan Task Force. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> ____________________________ <br />Brian Beeman <br />Assistant City Administrator
