Mounds View City Council November 25, 2019 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller inquired if the library still had a weekly story time. Mr. Lowry reported the <br />children’s story time was held on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and a baby story time was held at <br />9:45 a.m. on Fridays. <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer recommended Mr. Lowry work with the Cable provider to do a PSA to <br />describe all of the great services the public library provides. The Council supported this <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause commented on the new Adult Americans Academy and thanked <br />Mr. Lowry for participating in this program. <br /> <br /> B. Resolution 9191, Appreciation to Teresa Muckala for her Service on the <br />Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller read a Resolution of Appreciation thanking Teresa Muckala for her years of <br />dedicated service to the City of Mounds View on the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9191, <br />Appreciation to Teresa Muckala for her Service on the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. Resolution 9192, Approving the Recording Secretary Service Agreement <br />Amendment with Minute Maker Secretarial (formerly TimeSaver OffSite <br />Secretarial, Inc.). <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Bergeron. Ordinance 969 – First Reading, Amending Chapter 900, Sump Pump <br />Discharge and Water Meter Ownership/Installation. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council introduce an Ordinance that would amend <br />Chapter 900 of City Code regarding Sump Pump Discharge and water meter <br />ownership/installation. He reviewed an updated Ordinance with the Council and commented on <br />the program the City would be undertaking to install new water meters throughout the City of
